Should I do the Windows 10 upgrade myself?
Over the past couple of weeks we have upgraded around 200 computers from Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10. The majority of those went without any significant problems along the way but around 20% did not go so smoothly and a few were a nightmare.
In the best case scenario the upgrade is just a matter of clicking a few buttons and letting the automated processes take care of the upgrade for you, in the worst case the upgrade will fail and you will need to restore your computer to it's previous state from backups.
So really the question should be "Are you prepared to take the risk and DIY or would you rather have a skilled and qualified technician do it for you?"
